• Substrate shall be dry. Fresh concrete can be treated even 24 hours after dismantling of form work, but it should be regarded that the penetration i.e. depth of SAMBOND ® 4S gets higher with the dryness of substrate.
• Cracks and tears of size above 0,3 mm must be levelled-out before treating. Old facades must be
cleaned from moss, braids and dirt.
• Prefabricated parts as well as building blocks or roof-tiles can be impregnated by brush, spray or
immersion.
• Concrete can be impregnated even 24 hours after dismantling the formwork.
Humidity-protection:
• With SAMBOND ® 4S the greater part of salt-blooming, frost damages, humid walls, erosion and other damages, which are caused by humidity into brickwork, can be avoided.
Clean facades:
• A new or fresh cleaned facade, which has been impregnated with SAMBOND ® 4S keeps longer dry and clean.
• The siloxane-effect prevents penetration of dust in the façade. Mould fungus and moss are prevented for a long time.
Less costs for heating:
• In many buildings a lot of heating energy gets lost through the walls. By absorption of humidity in the brickwork from outside the cladding, loss of heat gets even worse.
• The saving of heat by impregnation of the façade with SAMBOND ® 4S is as a result of low absorption of humidity of the outer wall.
• Facades impregnated with SAMBOND ® 4S stay permeable for water vapour and become breathable.

Mix preparation

Application:
• Apply one coat of primer SAMPRIME LF and allow it to dry for 6-8 hours.
• Apply first coat of SAMBOND ® TC at the rate of 1.6 m 2 per kg and allow it to dry before taking up the second and third coats, the rate of application being the same.
• Open woven glass fiber mesh of 2.5mm x 2.5mm must be sandwiched between the first and the second coat in case of larger roof. Place the fiber mesh on the first coat while it is still wet. After the coat dries, start applying the second coat of SAMBOND ® TC. This improves the performance of coating to take care of all movements in the cracks and cold joints in the substrate caused by variations of high and low temperatures.
• Drying time between the coats will be 6-8 hours.
• Allow the system to air cure for 7 days minimum. A total thickness of 1 to 1.2mm must be achieved when SAMBOND ® TC is dry.
• Provides quite efficient protection to concrete.
